How long does it take from template to installation?
Typically from the point of template to the time of intallation it is 7-14 days. However, we endeavour to finish the worktops as quickly as professionally possible.
Do I have to be present?
To do the template we need somebody present to let us in. On installation we require you to be there to inspect the worktops and to sign off to say you are happy.
Will my kitchen units be able to take weight?
Solid granite is quite heavy at around 85kgs per metre and we strongly recommend all customers to check and confirm with the unit manufacturer that your units will support granite worktops.
What is the maximum length of a worktop?
The maximum length of your worktops is dependant on many factors - which granite you choose and how many cut outs are needed. The maximum length will also depend on access to the area for installation.
Can you cut my own granite for me?
Yes, if you would just like us to cut and polish your own granite then that's no problem. All we would need are exact measurements including cut outs and polished edges.
How do I clean my granite?
The maintenance of granite is easy and inexpensive. You can keep it clean with water and a soft detergent such as mild soap, then rinse and wipe dry (we find microfibre cloths give a sparkling finish). We have a range of specialist after care products including cleaners, polishers, and stain prevention if you wish to purchase these.
What are your payment terms?
We typically ask for 30% of the total cost as a deposit depending on the size and value of the job. The remainder is payable after installation.
How much is delivery?
Delivery is included in the price when we template and install.
